Printed in Augsburg by Johann Schoensperger 2/12/1482, and reprinted 1485, 1487, 1489, 1494, 1496/7 & 1499. A nimbed Bernard carrying a crozier and with the arms of Clairvaux at his feet kneels before a half-figure of the crowned Virgin and Child in the sky in a landscape with houses and a church behind Bernard. One of 126 illustrations in a German version of the Golden Legend.
