Full-page woodcut on title page of Bernard's 'Psalterium beate Marie virginis' printed by Bartholomaeus de Gianettis on 1 April 1524. Bernard is depicted sitting on a stool at a desk at which while writing he has a vision of the Virgin appearing in the sky. A demon hides behind his stool. The setting is a mountainous landscape. Bernard has 'tuft'.
