Woodcut by Lucas Cranach the Elder from 1515 showing a half-figure of Bernard kneeling on the right his hands folded in prayer and looking up at the full figure of the sitting Man of Sorrows. Between them is a heart pierced by an arrow, and below Bernard is a mitre lying on top of his crozier. Bernard has 'tuft'.
