Description:
Single sheet from c 1480-1500. Behind a sill on which a naked infant Christ is standing are half figures of the Virgin, on the right, and, on the right, Bernard. In this Lactation image the Virgin presses her breast with her left hand. Bernard has a crozier in his right hand. He is wearing a cope over his white cowl.
