Description:
In a book entitled 'Speygelder Dogede' printed in Luebeck by Bartholomaeus Ghotan 23/8/1485. Bernard in a cowl and cap sits in a Gothic carved chair writing with a pen in his right hand and a knife in his left in an open book on a desk before him. He is called 'Sunte Bernd de hillighe lerer' (St Bernard the holy teacher).
