One of many small woodcuts in the first fully-illustrated printed edition of Dante by Bernardino Benali & Mattio da Parma from Venice, March 1491. This is one of three featuring Bernard, illustrating Paradise Canto 32. In the bottom left corner is Dante identified by 'D' and next to him Bernard with the inscription 'S.Bernardo'.
