One of many small woodcuts in the first fully illustrated printed edition of Dante by Bernardino Benali & Matthio da Parma from Venice, 1491. This is one of three featuring Bernard, illustrating Paradiso Canto 31. In the top left Dante is indicated by a 'D' and Bernard by the inscription 'S.Bernardo'. See also EN08-09.
