Description:
One of four pen and ink drawings of saints, all of them identified by their attributes, by the Dutch painter Pieter Cornelisz. Kunst. They are of Anne, shown with the Virgin and Child as a 'Selbdritt' image, Dominic with a dog, Agatha holding her severed breast, and a standing figure of Bernard, wrongly identified in the Catalogue as Benedict. He has a crozier in his left hand while his right hand is raised in blessing. He holds a devil at his feet on a chain and there is therefore no doubt that it represents Bernard and not Benedict.
