Description:
The Vision of Bernard in a drawing attributed to Cosimo Rosselli. A rocky landscape with a town in the background and a church on a cliff on which are the figures of three monks is the setting for a 'Doctrina' scene with Mary with Child in the middle surrounded by angels, two saints on the left, and Bernard sitting on a rock writing in an open book on his knees. Very similar to another drawing by Cosimo Rosselli, but with the composition reversed (see PA095).
